Design Inspiration
The Gaby collection was first introduced in Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2021 lineup, inspired by Catherine Deneuve’s character Gaby in the 2002 French-Italian film 8 Femmes, representing independent women.

The 2024 Vanity Bag draws inspiration from historical vanity cases dating back 3000+ years. European jewelers in the 1920s elevated vanity cases with precious materials and intricate craftsmanship.

Craftsmanship
Made from supple black lambskin with diamond quilting for a vintage aesthetic. The padded construction maintains shape while appearing lightweight.
Signature YSL Logo
The iconic Cassandre logo in antique bronze finish complements the vintage design. Created in 1961 by artist A.M. Cassandre, the vertically arranged initials remain timeless.
