FENDI Emblem Pattern Peekaboo Soft Handbag

This handbag debuted at the FENDI 2025 Spring-Summer Men’s Show. For this season’s collection marking the brand’s centennial, Men’s Wear and Accessories Creative Director Silvia Venturini Fendi drew inspiration from Italian craftsmanship to reinterpret classic brand elements.

The new FENDI Club emblem was designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi for the brand’s centennial. The shield’s four sections represent four brand stories: Pequin stripes, FF logo, Roman Janus, and squirrel motif.

Pequin Stripes were created in 1983 by late Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld, inspired by Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann’s works. The perfectly proportioned stripes became an instant classic and iconic visual symbol.

FF Logo is FENDI’s most recognizable element. Karl Lagerfeld created the “Fun Fur” concept in 1967 and sketched the FF logo in just five seconds.

Janus, the Roman god of beginnings and endings depicted with two faces, is incorporated into the emblem as a tribute to FENDI’s Roman origins.

FENDI Squirrel originated when founder Edoardo Fendi gave his wife Adele Casagrande a painting of a squirrel because she was “always as busy as a squirrel.”

The bag is crafted from textured Cuoio Romano calfskin with the FENDI Club emblem silk-printed onto the leather. You can also see the founding year 1925 and origin ITALY inscribed.

The Peekaboo Soft bag introduces padded cushioning into the accordion folds, softening the originally minimalist silhouette.

The bag maintains its classic trapezoid shape but updates the side construction from “external edge stitching” to “internal rolled edges”, creating a more relaxed aesthetic.

All hardware is crafted in silver metal, with side studs that create a clean look when closed and a more casual vibe when open.
