Delvaux Presents Summer 2025 Collection: “The Whisper of Nature”
Delvaux has just launched its Summer 2025 “The Whisper of Nature” collection, inspired by the romantic spirit of Art Nouveau. The designers explore the essence of movement, light, and material application, adorning bags with undulating curves and three-dimensional leather floral motifs through embroidery and leather marquetry techniques, infusing each piece with poetic romance.
The Art Nouveau Legacy
Emerging in the late 19th century, Art Nouveau was a rebellion against industrial mechanization, celebrating nature’s flowing lines, organic forms, and exquisite craftsmanship. This movement typically blended floral motifs, vines, insects and fluid lines to bring beauty into everyday life. Brussels, as the epicenter of this artistic revolution, produced pioneers like architect Victor Horta, whose Hôtel Tassel is considered the first Art Nouveau building.
Founded in 1829 by Charles Delvaux in Brussels, the house continues this tradition with each bag from the new collection handcrafted by artisans in the Delvaux Brussels workshop, featuring precision embroidery and leather marquetry techniques.

The Brillant and Tempête bags draw inspiration from the luminous mosaic tiles of Art Nouveau interiors. Artisans use golden threads, gold and white beads to hand-embroider fluid, winding curvilinear patterns onto the bags, evoking feminine grace. The black-and-gold color scheme adds luxurious sophistication.

True to Art Nouveau’s celebration of nature, the Pin Mini bucket bag features three-dimensional lambskin irises crafted with leather marquetry, while two Brillant handbags showcase black or purple lambskin tulips climbing their handles, as if freshly picked from an artist’s garden.

These two bags are crafted from Dream Calf leather, featuring delicate “D”-shaped appliqués hand-stitched by Delvaux artisans, highlighting the brand’s initial while showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
· Woven Elegance ·
The Pin Mini bucket bag is woven from natural French willow in three earthy tones – natural, latte, and dark brown – creating a rustic, natural aesthetic.
· Daisy Motifs ·
These pieces feature vibrant vanilla Box Calf leather adorned with hand-embroidered beads and sequins forming blooming daisy clusters, evoking the dreamy romance of a flower garden.
· Marshmallow Purple ·
The Pin bucket bag and Cool Box tote in Taurillon Soft grained calfskin feature a delicate marshmallow purple hue. Abstract floral motifs are outlined with six rows of white stitching, achieving understated romance.
