Balenciaga Summer 25 Collection: The Rodeo Bag
Balenciaga‘s Summer 25 collection introduces the new Rodeo Bag in tan vegetable-tanned lambskin with silver hardware. Featuring an innovative dual-closure trompe l’oeil structure and distressed accordion pleats, this design blends classic aesthetics with multifunctional practicality.

Design Inspiration
The Rodeo Bag debuted in the Balenciaga Summer 24 collection, named after Beverly Hills’ famous Rodeo Drive shopping district, home to two Balenciaga flagship stores.

The bag features a classic briefcase silhouette with clean trapezoidal lines, flap closure, and arched top handle. Protective metal feet add refined detailing.

Innovative Structure
The sides feature three-layer accordion pleats. Unfastening the snaps expands capacity while creating a more casual, open look.

Dual-Closure System
The standout feature is the dual-lock mechanism – the flap can fasten to either the front ring clasp or center compartment’s square twist lock, with distressed silver hardware adding edge.

This innovative system allows three carrying styles:
- Fully closed for a structured briefcase look
- Center-fastened with draped front panel
- Completely open for effortless casual style
Material Craftsmanship
Inspired by cowboy aesthetics, the bag uses tan vegetable-tanned lambskin with intentional uneven dyeing that creates vintage patina.

Vegetable-tanned leather uses plant-based tannins, developing unique character over time while being environmentally friendly.
Carrying Options
The bag includes:
- 20.5cm arched top handle
- 57.4cm detachable leather strap with adjustable knot
- Removable keychain with dual rings for personalization
