Design Inspiration
Inspired by the “Made in Eden” theme, this piece continues BVLGARI’s iconic serpent motif. The handle design draws from 1960s Serpenti heritage jewelry, blending exquisite craftsmanship with the serpent’s mystical allure.
The term “Serpenti” means snake in Italian. Ancient Egyptians viewed snakes as symbols of power and immortality, representing transformation, healing, and eternal life.
In Egyptian mythology, the rod of Aesculapius, god of medicine and healing, featured a coiled serpent. Pharaohs’ crowns and queens’ headdresses often incorporated serpent motifs in precious gems or gold.
The dual serpent handles are crafted from gold-plated brass with engraved scales and red enamel eyes, forming a graceful U-shape that connects to the bag body at both ends.
Gradient Crystal Details
The natural suede body is handcrafted and adorned with gradient golden crystals that resemble morning dew on petals or stars in the night sky, blending jewelry craftsmanship with bag design.
