The Candystud handbag debuted in Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection, featuring soft nappa lambskin adorned with pyramid studs and the newly designed VLTN logo. The diamond-quilted pattern creates a voluptuous silhouette that perfectly balances tenderness and rebellion.

The most distinctive feature of the Candystud collection is the Capitonné quilting technique, where the lambskin is filled with soft material and secured with studs to create rounded geometric patterns.

The prominent white VLTN letters on the front add urban flair and youthful energy to the bag. The VLTN logo was designed by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection, inspired by Valentino’s 1980s brand abbreviation.

The edges, handles, and shoulder strap are adorned with pyramid-shaped studs that contrast with the soft lambskin in both texture and tone, injecting rock-chic elements while maintaining perfect balance between elegance and rebellion.

The clasp features a cross-shaped rotating lock design wrapped in black lambskin, with “VALENTINO GARAVANI” engraved inside the flap – subtle yet sophisticated.

The bag comes with an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap that can be modified on both sides to accommodate different heights and styling preferences – suitable for both shoulder and crossbody wear. The top of the strap is widened and padded for comfort, with stud decorations echoing the bag’s design.

Without the strap, the bag transforms into a lighter handheld purse.

The interior is lined with black canvas, featuring two flat leather-edged open pockets at the front and one zippered pocket at the back for thin items like cardholders or earbuds. The zippered pocket has Valentino’s signature red label.

The bag offers ample space for a notebook, iPhone, wallet, compact, perfume, jewelry pouch, lipstick, and more. There’s also a small logo-printed pocket at the back for temporary storage of small items.
