Hermès has just launched its Spring/Summer 2025 Limited Edition Nail Polish collection, featuring 6 brand new shades. From the ethereal mother-of-pearl white and delicate light pink, to the bright and fresh aqua green and pollen yellow, and finally the rich and saturated tulip orange and iris violet – these romantic, light hues evoke a refreshing and elegant summer ambiance. The limited edition collection is expected to be released on June 4th, priced at ¥6,600 JPY.
The Legacy of Hermès Nail Polish
Hermès introduced its “Les Mains Hermès” hand care collection nail polish in 2021, with an initial launch of 24 shades. These colors were inspired by Hermès silk scarves and leather goods, crafted with healthy and eco-friendly natural plant-based ingredients combined with enamel coloring techniques, giving nails a luminous glazed finish.
The **nail polish bottle** was designed by Hermès Jewelry and Footwear Creative Director, **Pierre Hardy**. The cap retains the **white lacquer and rose gold metal patchwork look** from the lipstick collection, paired with a thickened glass bottle for a minimalist and modern style. The top features gilded material, etched with the classic Hermès **circular emblem**, including the **H letter**, **carriage motif**, and the **caduceus** symbolizing Hermes.
The nail polish itself has a creamy texture, with each bottle containing 15ml and made from **71% natural ingredients**. Inspired by enamel craftsmanship, the micron-sized pigment particles ensure a delicate and even application. Just one coat is enough to achieve a brilliant **glazed** effect, and it also features a special fragrance curated by a perfumer.
